My name is Dan and I am the Director & Principal Supervisor of A Rolley & Sons and proud 4th generation owner of this business. I have been with the company since 1986 when I conducted my apprenticeship.
Born and bred in Caloundra, I am a true Sunshine Coast boy at heart. A Masters Surf boat rower, achieving 3rd in the national titles in my hay day, I enjoy the lifestyle the Sunshine Coast offers.
Married to Lee with 2 grown boys, when we’re not busy building houses, we enjoy taking time out to garden and go camping!
Hi, I’m Lee, wife to Dan. Having studied building design I work closely with our design team and you throughout the entire job to ensure a smooth and enjoyable process for our clients.
I enjoy taking holidays with the family (don’t we all!) and walking our rescue dog Onyx. A Naturopath & Remedial Therapist in my previous life (before I entered the world of construction in 2006!), I enjoy a healthy living lifestyle and spending time in my ever developing organic vege garden and fruit grove.
Hi my name is Sarah and I am the Office Manager in the A Rolley and Sons team.
My role includes working closely with Lee in the office and the rest of the team on site to ensure smooth running of all aspects of our building projects. I bring over a decade of experience in Corporate administration and Project Co-Ordination. I am enjoying being able to apply these skills to the construction industry.
My family and I relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2024 and are loving being closer to our favorite places. As avid campers we are enjoy exploring new areas. When I am not at work I enjoy being by the water with my Husband, Daughter and our pup Bentley.
Hi I’m Jarrod, apprentice carpenter for A Rolley and Sons.
After finishing grade 12 and starting work for Dan and Lee I’ve really enjoyed learning the new skills and practices that occur every day in the construction industry.
On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my mates camping and surfing.
A Rolley & Sons has been a family business for 75 years and building homes on the Sunshine Coast since 1968.
Having started in Brisbane in the 1940s by Dan’s Great Grandfather Albert and Grandfather Arthur as a furniture manufacturer with a large contract for Trittons Store it was known as A Rolley and Son (singular).
In the late 1960’s Dan’s Grandfather moved to Caloundra and started constructing houses in the local area. In the early 1970’s Dans father and then a short time later, his uncle joined forces to become A Rolley and Sons (plural).
In 2006 Dan’s father and uncle retired and Dan and Lee continue with the family business of creating beautiful spaces for families to live. Lee gained qualifications in building design and currently Dan’s youngest son has recently completed his apprenticeship with the company.
